It is a quill-mounted unit that may be used for either end of shaft or through-shaft designs. The Model CBA is designed to be compatible and complementary to our dry units. Unique friction plate grooving patterns, as well as the forced oil cooling feature allow the Model HBA brake to dissipate the heat generated by stopping the high energy loads common to today's heavy duty industrial equipment. The Model HBS brake is identical to the Model HBA brake, except the unit is designed to be spring-set. Pneumatic or hydraulic actuation.
